NC State Engineering Graduate Programs earns top ranking

The Graduate Program in NC State University’s College of Engineering ranks among the nation’s top 25 graduate engineering programs by GraduatePrograms.com, a product of SR Education Group.

The website’s 2016 rankings put the College’s graduate program at No. 11 nationally amongst other schools that offer graduate degrees in engineering. Rankings are determined based on student reviews and ratings submitted to the site and data used in school listings gathered from 2015-16 National Center for Education Statistics.

A student reviewer posted, “The program is well designed for students from different parts of the world. It gives a thorough knowledge about the subjects. The faculty are well prepared for the subjects.”

NC State Engineering’s graduate program is known for innovative degree offerings, a world-renowned faculty and groundbreaking collaborative research initiatives. Currently, there are more than 2,900 students enrolled in the College’s 21 master’s and 12 doctoral degree programs.

“The NC State Engineering graduate students who responded to this survey are clearly pleased with the education they are getting,” said Dr. Douglas Reeves, Associate Dean of Graduate Programs. “The combination of world-class research faculty, outstanding facilities, high academic standards, popularity with employers, and low tuition, has made us a great choice for graduate education.
