ECE Career Events: Fall 2024

Career Fair Prep Panel with CSC – Wednesday, August 28th, 2024 – 7-8pm on Zoom (link coming soon!)

  • Join us and our corporate panelists from 7-8pm EST. We will discuss how to prepare for the career fair, what to expect, and how to best stand out when talking to recruiters. No sign-up is required.

ECE Mentor Program – Sign Up here. Information session attendance required to be paired with a mentor. Fall 2024 form closes September 3rd, 2024.

  • The ECE Mentor Program gives all students the opportunity to learn more about the industry while also helping students to broaden their professional network. Students who participate in the program are required to meet with their Mentor for at least one hour a month from September-November and must attend a required information session about the program.

Career Fair Prep Week – Tuesday, September 3rd – 5th, 2024 – Sign ups required! (Career Fair Plus – link to sign up coming soon!)

  • Sign up to have your resume reviewed and to practice interviewing with an ECE alum, corporate partner, or member of the Career Services team in preparation for the Career Fair!

Golden Opportunities Career Fair – Monday, September 9th from 4-8pm AND Friday, September 13th from 11am-3pm in Duke Energy Hall

College of Engineering Career Fair – Wednesday, September 18th and Thursday, September 19th IN PERSON at the McKimmon Center

Technical Mock Interview Night – Thursday, October 17th, 2024 from 5:30-7:30pm – Sign ups required (link to sign up coming soon!)

  • Are you ready to level up your technical interviewing skills? Sign up for your opportunity to have a mock technical interview with one of our corporate partners. This is your chance to gain practical experience and feedback on technical interviewing.
    • Please note that this event is not industry-specific and the questions will be general technical questions. 

ECE Signing Day – Monday, December 2nd, 2024 from 1-2pm in the EB2 Atrium (link to sign up coming soon!)

  • Accepted a full-time job or internship offer? Come celebrate at our Signing Day event on Monday, December 2nd, 2024 from 1-2pm in the EB2 Atrium. Get your picture taken with Mr. Wuf and enjoy some light refreshments!
