There is an opportunity for engineering graduate students who may be a good fit for the paid Truman and Hruby Distinguished Fellowships at Sandia National Labs, a multidisciplinary national security research lab. The first round of applications only requires a 2-page proposal so there is plenty of time for applicants to still put that together. The application deadline is Sept 12.
There is also a paid opportunity for current engineering/computer science undergraduates who are interested in graduate school. The Critical Skills Recruiting Program through Sandia National Labs allows full-time graduate students to receive paid tuition and a stipend from Sandia. Students will then continue their career with an R&D position at Sandia Labs upon completion of their Master’s degree. The application deadline is Sept 21.
