Graduate School Orientation:
Fall 2023 New Graduate Student Orientation will be in-person at the McKimmon Center on Aug. 18. Students with the last name of A-L will attend the morning session from 9 – 11:30 a.m. Students with the last name of M-Z will attend the afternoon session from 1:30 – 4 p.m. The information fair will be held from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. and is open to all incoming students.
All newly enrolled graduate students will receive an email with full details in June. The following students DO NOT attend in-person orientation: MBA, MAC, distance and certificate students.
A separate email will go out on Aug. 19 with details of the asynchronous online portion of new student orientation. The asynchronous online portion is open to ALL graduate students and will be available on Aug. 19.

Office of International Services (OIS) Orientation:
The Office of International Services (OIS) is so excited to welcome you to the Wolfpack! We have already started preparing for your arrival with Small Pack and International Orientation planning underway. International Orientation will take place in-person at the Talley Student Union on Wednesday, August 16th. Specific timing will be added once our schedule is finalized. Lunch will be provided. New international students on F and J visas should plan to arrive to Raleigh before that date.
All new graduate students (including those transferring from other US institutions) are required to participate in International Orientation. International orientation will take place in-person on Wednesday, August 16th at the Talley Student Union.
OIS Orientation is mandatory for all new international graduate students (F-1 and J-1 visas). The OIS orientation is separate from the OIS New Student Check-in. All students must schedule an appointment for their OIS check-in.
New Teaching Assistants (TA) Workshop:
All new TAs are required to attend the New TA Workshop on Friday, August 11, 2023.
