Fall funding: Graduate students attending workshops/short courses

We are pleased to announce that second cycle of the workshop/short course funding that represents a collaboration between Student Government and the Graduate School. The aim remains to provide funding for graduate students  to further their academic development and help build their skill sets through attending such opportunities. Applicants can request up to $500, and there will be $5000 available per semester. These awards can only be used for future travel; we are unable to cover costs for travel expenses incurred prior to the decision deadline.

Deadline for this cycle: September 30th, 2019 with decisions likely in early October to cover workshops from Oct. 15, 2019 – Feb 15, 2020.
This funding is not appropriate for those seeking only conference travel – for that, please see the GSA’s Travel Awards (https://orgs.ncsu.edu/gsa/conference-award/)
