Faculty-2-Faculty Mentor Awards

To honor their accomplishments, each individual became recipients of the inaugural Faculty-2-Faculty Mentor Recognition. Of those who were acknowledged, seven were members from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Professorships created in ECE as investment

ECE alumnus Dr. Jason Rhode, president and CEO of Cirrus Logic, firmly believes that the quality engineering curriculum offered in the ECE department perfectly aligns with the company's strategy to hire the best and brightest students to design today's latest innovative audio ICs and has created a Distinguished Professorship and Term Professorship with a total investment of $708,106.

Franzon new ECE Director of Graduate Programs

New Techniques Make RFID Tags 25 Percent Smaller

Lobaton Receives NSF CAREER Award

Floyd receives 2016 Outstanding Teacher Award

This year, selected by the Senior Class Council, Dr. Brian Floyd, Associate Professor of Electrical & Computer Engineering at NC State was recognized with the Award for his excellence as a teacher and mentor. 

Misra selected for TEDxRaleigh 2016

Two NC State faculty members are among 13 locals selected to present at TEDxRaleigh 2016, an event designed to showcase the best and the brightest of Raleigh thinkers, tinkers and revolutionary visionaries.

Bozkurt receives NSF CAREER Award

The award, known as the NSF CAREER Award, is one of the highest honors given by NSF to young faculty in science and engineering.

ECE Alumna Recognized as Leader in STEM Education by IEEE
