We will not be lifting any advising holds prior to this date. What you can do now:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Please limit to one appointment per student to allow advisors time to meet with any student who wishes to be seen. We have ~1,500 students between CODA\u2019d students and EFY.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you have general questions\/clarifying questions for your advisor, book an appointment PRIOR to March 4th so you are ready to submit your advising plan when the time comes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Pre-Registration Advising Process:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>All students MUST submit an advising plan via the <a href=\"https:\/\/tools.wolftech.ncsu.edu\/advising\/login\">Advising Tool<\/a>. There are two ways to have your submitted advising plan be reviewed to have your hold lifted:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Online Advising (no meeting required):<\/strong>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Submit your advising plan on the <a href=\"https:\/\/tools.wolftech.ncsu.edu\/advising\/dashboard\">Advising Tool<\/a> indicating that you would like your plan to be reviewed online by your advisor (meaning you won\u2019t be making an appointment to review your plan).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>SUBMISSION DEADLINE IS MARCH 20th<\/strong>. After March 20th, new online-review submissions will be processed as time allows, no priority given.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2.0 cumulative GPA or higher is required for online-review submissions (no meeting required).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Meet with your advisor (meeting required):<\/strong>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Submit your advising plan via the <a href=\"https:\/\/tools.wolftech.ncsu.edu\/advising\/dashboard\">Advising Tool<\/a> indicating that you will be making an appointment with your advisor to discuss your plan prior to your hold being lifted.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Plan to meet with your advisor. Look up their availability on <a href=\"https:\/\/my.ece.ncsu.edu\/undergrad\/advising\/\">myECE<\/a>. Plan to either (1) make an appointment in Navigate (zoom or in person) to review your submitted plan, or (2) utilize drop-in hours, if your advisor provides them.\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We cannot guarantee that you will be seen during drop-in hours as it is a first-come-first-serve basis. We strongly encourage appointments over drop-ins.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Advisors will not be reviewing your Advising Tool submission prior to your meeting, so please schedule your meeting in Navigate.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Tips for having your hold lifted PRIOR to your enrollment date:<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We strongly encourage students to put their planned courses in their shopping cart prior to meeting with their advisor. This will help avoid scheduling conflicts and ensure your planned classes are offered.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you submit your advising form for online review (meaning you are NOT coming in for an appointment), SUBMIT YOUR FORM PRIOR TO SPRING BREAK (or during spring break).&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submit your form between March 4th and March 20th. The deadline to submit for online-review is March 20th!!\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>This will guarantee that your hold will be lifted prior to your enrollment date.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Online forms will be reviewed in the order of date submitted, not based on your enrollment date. SUBMIT EARLY!\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Keep in mind, if you resubmit your plan it essentially \u201cupdates\u201d your submitted plan. Therefore, the date of submission we see is based on your last submission, and this is the date we will be going off of.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>COURSE NOTES:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ECE 200 &amp; 209: Requires 2.0 GPA. If you add either of these courses and your GPA drops below 2.0, you will be administratively dropped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ECE 211, 212, &amp; 220: EE or CPE Majors Only. For an exception to this restriction, you will need to fill out the ECE Override Request form and review of this request will be processed after all enrollment dates have passed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CREDIT-ONLY (S\/U) GRADING: With the exception of HES_ courses &amp; E115, all courses must be taken for a letter grade to count toward your degree. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PREREQUISITES: It is your responsibility to be sure that you have the prerequisites for your courses. Failure to have a prerequisite could result in you being administratively dropped from the course. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>After registering for classes, it is your responsibility to review your Degree Audit to confirm your enrolled courses are counting towards your degree. Courses listed under non-degree are not counting towards your degree.
