{"id":66,"date":"2018-08-21T22:07:22","date_gmt":"2018-08-21T22:07:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/my.ece.ncsu.edu\/purchasing\/?page_id=66"},"modified":"2021-10-11T12:53:54","modified_gmt":"2021-10-11T16:53:54","slug":"publishing","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/my.ece.ncsu.edu\/purchasing\/process\/publishing\/","title":{"rendered":"Publishing"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\">Contact:\u00a0<span class=\"has-inline-color has-wolfpack-red-color\">ECE-Purchasing@ncsu.edu<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Attention:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>All requests must be pre-approved and completed by a member of the Purchasing Team. <\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Students and Faculty should not place orders outside of the ECE Purchasing System.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Publishing\/Registering a Paper Without Travel Process:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you will not be attending a conference but will be publishing a paper at that conference, Travel Authorization is not needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Discuss the request with your supervisor.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Enter the request into the ECE Purchasing System. <a href=\"http:\/\/go.ncsu.edu\/ece-purchasing\">http:\/\/go.ncsu.edu\/ece-purchasing<\/a>&nbsp;<\/li><li>You will receive a &#8220;Thank You&#8221; email that confirms your request has been submitted correctly.<\/li><li>Request is routed to PI for approval.<\/li><li>Request is routed to Funding for approval.<\/li><li>You will receive an email when your request is fully approved.<\/li><li>A Purchaser will process the request within 24-48 hours of approval.&nbsp;<\/li><li>The Purchasing Agent will forward any confirmations when applicable.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Publishing a Paper with IEEE:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Discuss the request with your supervisor.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Enter the request into the ECE Purchasing System.&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/go.ncsu.edu\/ece-purchasing\">http:\/\/go.ncsu.edu\/ece-purchasing<\/a>&nbsp;<\/li><li>You will receive a &#8220;Thank You&#8221; email that confirms your request has been submitted correctly.<\/li><li>Request is routed to PI for approval.<\/li><li>Request is routed to Funding for approval.<\/li><li>You will receive an email when your request is fully approved.<\/li><li>A Purchasing Agent will contact you to set up a time to meet to log into your account and process the payment, or will ask you to email the invoice to <a href=\"mailto:ece-purchasing@ncsu.edu\">ece-purchasing@ncsu.edu<\/a>.
