New Hire Checklist

• I-9, Part I (complete on or before your start date)
  
• I-9, Part 2 (complete within 3 days of your start date; contact ECE I-9 user)
  
• Set up Direct Deposit
  
• Enroll in optional payroll deduction for student fees (available to eligible graduate assistants only)
  
• Update Work Address in Employee Self Service (complete within the 1st week)
  
• Complete Managers Safety Checklist (complete within 30 days; once completed, you will receive the certificate by email)

Foreign Nationals must also:

• Schedule Tax Assessment (complete on or before your start date)
  
• Apply for Social Security Number (refer to OIS for additional information)
  
• Update I-9 once SSN card has been issued; contact ECE I-9 user
