If you encounter an error and are unable to enroll in a ECE course, please email our office. Advising is not required prior to enrolling in courses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We cannot enroll\/swap you into any non ECE course<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ECE 600 is a mandatory 1 credit hour course for all graduate students enrolled in the MS CNE, CPE and EE programs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ECE 801 is a mandatory 4 credit hour course for all doctoral students enrolled in the PhD program.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students&nbsp;<em>generally<\/em>&nbsp;must enroll in 9 credit hours to be considered&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/grad.ncsu.edu\/students\/rules-and-regulations\/handbook\/3-14-minimum-enrollment-requirements\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">full-time<\/a>, and 4.5 credit hours to be considered&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/grad.ncsu.edu\/students\/rules-and-regulations\/handbook\/3-14-minimum-enrollment-requirements\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">half-time<\/a>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>International students must be&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=http%3A%2F%2Finternationalservices.ncsu.edu%2Fcurrent-students%2Fenrollment%2F&amp;sa=D&amp;sntz=1&amp;usg=AFQjCNH0iyN6lGT_S3Sss2QdXZ6FExtTPA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">enrolled full-time<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students receiving departmental financial support (TA, RA) must be&nbsp;enrolled<strong>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/grad.ncsu.edu\/students\/rules-and-regulations\/handbook\/3-14-minimum-enrollment-requirements\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">full-time<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Hold on account<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ECE Graduate Office can only release Advising Holds.
