All letters are signed by the Director of the Graduate Program and placed on official department letterhead. Please follow the specific instructions below to request your letter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>On-Track to Graduate Letter<\/strong><br>Typically for students sponsored by their home country, government, or employer who require proof that they are making satisfactory progress towards graduation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please contact the Graduate Office directly to request this letter. When emailing, please include the following information:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>First and Last Name<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Student ID Number<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Program<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Year Entered Program &amp; Expected Graduation Date<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Degree Completion Lette<\/strong>r<br>Eligible Students: Master of Science Thesis and Ph.D. students only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For PhD Students. You can obtain a letter of completion from the Graduate School, rather than from the department. Once you complete your oral exam, submit your final error free dissertation to the Graduate School, and your committee approves your final dissertation, the Graduate School will be able to issue you a Letter of Completion that you can use as proof of degree completion This will certify that you have completed all requirements for your degree. The Graduate School will be able to issue you a Letter of Completion that can you as proof of degree completion. This will certify that you have completed all requirements for your degree. From the Student Homepage, navigate to Academic Records and select Enrollment Verification from the left-hand navigation menu. If additional information is required on the verification, students should request through the link below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.studentclearinghouse.org\/\">National Student Clearinghouse<\/a><br>2300 Dulles Station Blvd., Suite 220<br>Herndon, VA 20171<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Letters We Do Not Provide<br><\/strong>Due to our large student volume, the Graduate Office cannot prepare individualized letters for the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Graduation Invitation Letters: We do not issue individual letters for graduation ceremonies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Travel Letters: We do not issue letters for student travel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Important Note on Travel: Graduate students do not need formal permission from the Graduate Office or the Director of Graduate Programs (DGP) to travel during the semester.
