On Friday, August 11, 2023, The Graduate School and campus partners will host our 2023 New TA Workshop. The workshop will cover teaching-related topics and is especially designed for new TAs, although all graduate students and postdocs with an interest in teaching are welcome to join us.
In addition to providing a basic overview of best practices in teaching and related topics, the workshop is intended to connect participants to resources that they can draw on in the future. It also counts toward the Teaching Certificate. In addition to a morning session that overs important topics for all teaching assistants, breakout sessions and a panel of graduate students who will share their insights as teaching assistants will also be provided.
