This allows packages and mail to be delivered to the correct location, impacts directory listings, and impacts which of our building email lists you&#8217;re automatically subscribed to. To check and \/ or fix this information:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/mypack.ncsu.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/mypack.ncsu.edu<\/a>&nbsp;and login.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make sure you&#8217;re in Employee Self Service<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the \u201cPersonal Details\u201d tile<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on \u201cWork Location\u201d tile.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make sure that your Office location correctly lists your building and office number.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>While you&#8217;re in there, make sure your Campus Box is set correctly:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Under Work Location, find \u201cBusiness Mailing Address\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on Campus Box<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Update your new campus box and save. Incoming mail is <strong>not supported for students<\/strong> due to regular turnover\u2014all correspondence for students should be directed to their home addresses (or simply emailed).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sending Mail\/Packages<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>UPS<\/strong> will pick up for free if they are already coming to do a drop-off. FedEx requires a pick-up to be scheduled and that pick-up often doesn&#8217;t happen that day unless you get it scheduled first thing in the morning. <strong>USPS<\/strong> mail must be metered (can&#8217;t ship out using stamps) if picked up from the building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mailing from EB2 and MRC is intended only for official business-related mail\/packages. For the most part, the department will not get charged for the disposal of pallets as long as the instructions above are followed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Shipping Crates<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Shipping crates are a slightly different case. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Please do not store crates in hallways or in dock receiving areas. If you need to temporarily (or long-term) store your crate, we expect you to do so within your research space. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Any shipping crates that are to be disposed of must first be broken down into pieces, then placed near the regular pallet areas above. ECE expects PIs to ask their research students to assist with this process. If your folks are not able to dismantle the crate (normally just need to remove some nails or screws &#8212; which they probably had to do to open it in the first place&#8230;), then you may send a request to ecehelp@ncsu.edu for assistance and Jessica will come to help your students (she won&#8217;t do it on her own). <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Disposal of crates is outside of the scope of normal NC State Recycling operations, so we need to pay them to come to pick up the pieces.
