NC State has once more gained ground in national rankings from both SR Education Group and U.S. News & World Report<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The online master\u2019s degree program in electrical engineering from North Carolina State University ranks among the top 25 by GuidetoOnlineSchools.com, a product of SR Education Group.<\/p>\n

The website\u2019s 2017 rankings placed the College\u2019s online master\u2019s degree program in electrical engineering at No. 12 nationally for best value, based on academic strength and tuition rates.<\/p>\n

SR Education Group determined rankings by analyzing accrediting online schools across the country and factoring academic strength along with annual tuition rates. Those listed, according to SR Education Group, were chosen due to their high academic standards as well as a commitment to affordability.\u00a0A full list of their rankings can be found at on GuideToOnlineSchools.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The College of Engineering placed No. 24 in the U.S. News & World Report<\/em> 2019 list of best graduate schools, up one spot over last year.<\/p>\n

U.S. News<\/em> ranks six graduate disciplines annually and evaluates factors such as employment rates, starting salaries for graduates and standardized test scores of newly enrolled students. The rankings methodology varies across disciplines because each program is different.<\/p>\n

The latest list adds to NC State\u2019s U.S. News <\/em>rankings roll. The 2018 \u201cBest Colleges\u201d rankings placed NC State No. 81 among national universities, a gain of 11 spots from 2017.
